The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Ms. Mayawati said that the State Government had issued directives to provide additional land for Rail Coach Factory in Rae-Bareli immediately as demanded by the Central Government, as per rules. Besides, State Government has also directed to provide land for Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology sanctioned by the Central Government at Tiloi Tehsil of Rae-Bareli.
The Chief Minister was addressing media persons at her official residence here today.
Ms. Mayawati said that her government never allowed politics to come in the way of development works. The State Government had always cooperated with Central Government in this regard. Whenever the Central Government had asked for any cooperation or help from the State Government for any development project in Sultanpur and Rae-Bareli, it had fully cooperated as per rules.
Giving the information regarding the decision to provide additional land for Rail Coach Factory to be set up in Rae- Bareli, the Chief Minister said that after this decision, the Central Government would have no excuse as for as this factory was concerned. She said that State Government had made available 189 hectares of land in 2008 for Rail Coach Factory.
Besides, demand for re-acquisition of 72 hectare land of Gram Sabha had been made by Rail Coach Factory. Ms. Mayawati, reminded the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre that U.P. had 71 districts, instead of only two districts of Rae-Bareli and Sultanpur, on which Central Government had focused its full attention. She said that the Centre was discriminating against the State on the issue of development. It was now clear that the Central Government had adopted step-motherly attitude with other districts of the State, she added.
The Union Home Minister Mr. P. Chidambaram at Shivganaga in his home constituency in Tamilnadu recently described the Uttar Pradesh Governments act to install the statues of Lord. Buddha, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Manyavar Kanshi Ramji and the Chief Minister Kumari Mayawati as the most shameful phase in Indian Politics by forgetting that already lakhs and crores of governmental fund has been spent on such things by his own Congress party. For showing such disrespect to models of Bahujan Samaj with arrogance and ignorance, Mr. Chidambaram should apologize to the country. Mr. Chidambaramís anger against BSP can be understood because he did not liked the presence of Bahujan Samaj Party in his own constituency Shivganga in Tamilnadu in the last Loksabha election, 2009, which he has anyhow managed to win by merely 3,354 votes and also facing the court case.
The outburst of Mr. Chidambaram would have been sensible had he and all his governments made all out efforts to end the poverty, provide the basic amenities, like education to Indian people. Forget the entire country even had he worked for the betterment of the people of his own constituency he would not trailed till 17th round of counting and managed to win merely by 3,354 votes. Even the roads, drainage and development in Shivganga is worst affected for that he do not feel shameful.
Mr. Chidambaram conveniently forgets that out of 62 years of independence, the State of Uttar Pradesh has been ruled by the Congress party most of the time and is largely responsible like the rest of the country for the most pathetic conditions of the poor. He himself, earlier as the finance Minister of India has robbed the Dalits, tribals and poor people by denying them their just share in the union budgets. As a Finance Minister he presented several union budgets without proper allocation of budgets to Scheduled Castes/ Tribe Sub-Plans in accordance with their population, as the guidelines of the Government of India and the Planning Commission. Had he done that the empowerment process of Dalits, Tribals and poor mass would have accelerated for which he never regretted but as the larger plan of the Congress Party to defame the BSPís government in Uttar Pradesh, he is making such illogical statements.
If really, he is concerned and his concern is genuine, in future better Mr. Chidambaram should guide his party as well as the government not to sanction funds and grants for unproductive things, such as, Rajghat-Shakisthal-Shantisthal in Delhi, Gandhi Memorial in Delhi, Kasturba Memorial in Indore, Kumbhamelas, and lakhs of memorials in the name of Gandhi, Nehru families.

In the just concluded parliamentary election, the Congress, BJP and their allies fought the general election in May 2009, under a "Casteist Mindset" by covertly joining hands with each other and thereby prevented a first Dalit Leader, Bahen Kumari Mayawati ji from occupying the prime ministerial post and guide the nation this time.
Of course this was not the first time that such casteist forces came together to attain their selfish objectives but the nation knows very well that on 22nd July, 2008, on the issue of ŌNDO-US CIVIL NUCLEAR DEAL" when the Congress led UPA government was about to be defeated in the Lok-Sabha and an Alternative Government was t emerge under the BSPís leadership, the Congress, BJP and their allies joined together on the basis of communal mindset and prevented an alternative government under the leadership of BSP. Moreover, to take their unholy conspiracy to its conclusion they created "Notes for Votes" drama inside the parliament and committed the murder of Indian Democracy, democratic institutions and the Constitution of India.
The cruel casteist mindset of such Manuvadi political parties was also exposed when Honíble Kanshi Ramji, the founder President BSP died on October 9, 2006, neither the then Congress Party at the Centre or in any other state nor the then Samajwadi Partyís government in Uttar Pradesh or any other partyís government in the country do not even bothered to declare even a day "National Mourning"
But the same political parties, especially Congress is busy now talks so much about Dalits and their empowerment. Dalits, Tribals, Backwards all these sections and their development is not the Congress and such parties target but by such deceit they are interested in breaking the unity of Dalits, backwards, minorities and even upper castes so as to weaken the Bahujan Samaj Party.
In sequence to that, the Congress Party has resorted to old outdated Gandhian dramatic techniques of organizing get together of Dalits and Tribals, eating in the Dalit and Tribal houses in the name of "Social Integration" so as to garner their vote bank. Mahatma Gandhiji, the role model of Congressmen also had adopted such foul means to tackle the problems of Dalits and others and therefore our greatest liberator Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar differed with him and waged a revolt against Gandhi and congress party. The Poona Pact of 1932, forced on Dr. Ambedkar by the coercive fast of Gandhiji has been the most vital example of such casteist mentality of the Congress Party.
Similarly, when the BSPís National Policy of Sarvajan Hitay-Sarvajan Sukhay is well appreciated by all the castes and communities under the leadership of BSP and BSP Supremo Bahen Kumari Mayawatiji, to defame BSPís humanitarian movement, both the parties, Congress and BJP are using the political weapons of "Taj Corridor Case", Dr. Ambedkar, Kanshi Ram Memorials in Lucknow, etc.
The Congress, BJP and their political allies, all are involved in this despicable political game and from time to time they also utilize some sections of the media as well as judiciary to mislead the people of this country.
Therefore, in the interest of the country and the sarvajan samaj, the Bahujan Samaj Party has planned to expose this cruel conspiracy of casteist parties through nationwide awareness campaign condemning such political parties.
This campaign is already started in Uttar Pradesh from 19 June, 2009 at all districts level. In Kerala State, in the first phase, the campaign will cover all the districts and the same will commence from 19th July, 2009 at Trivendrum.
